As you know since last year Sony changed their sales stagey in North America. They closed most of their US stores and today they announced they will close ALL(!) fourteen stores they have in Canada. Sony writes:

Over the next 6 to 8 weeks we are closing our Sony Stores in Canada and will redirect all of this business through our national network of Sony retailers, our online store … as well as through our Sony-trained Telesales team,

One of the lenses on Sonys roadmap (details here) is the 90mm f/2.8 OSS FE macro lens. The Chinese site Nphoto spotted a Sony patent describing the lens design. Here it is:

Colin: “I just wanted to share with you the video I did with an old swiss lens the switar 50/1.4 who cover the APS-C crop in 120 Fps converted to 24 fps, during a music festival. It was a stress test for the Slog-2, High iso, high contrast with light & shadow. The bundle was very compact, I could put back my camera in my jacket and drink some beers :)
