– Facebook: Submit your picture on our group: facebook.com/groups/sonyalphacamera. Please add the hashtag “#sonyalphagallery ” to grant the permission for reposting on SAR. Without the hashtag we will not add your picture!
– Forum: Submit your picture on the SonyAlphaForum image section and add the hashtag “#sonyalphagallery ”
3) Like and comment the pictures from other readers here: instagram.com/sonyalphagallery, facebook.com/groups/sonyalphacamera and on SonyAlphaForum.

Sony Japan announced a production delay for the A7s III:

Due to production reasons, it may take some time before the product is delivered for the digital single-lens camera “α7S III”.
We are currently making every effort to meet the needs of our customers, so please wait for a while.
We deeply apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Sony published their latest financial report. Between April – June 2021 made almost 3x more money with cameras+videocameras compared to same quarter in 2020. Almost 700 million dollars more revenue. They also revised upwards their forecast. They write:

Sales are expected to be higher than the April forecast due to the impact of foreign exchange rates as well as higher-than-expected sales of digital cameras due to higher unit sales, partially offset by lower-than-expected sales of televisions due to lower unit sales. Operating income is expected to be higher than the April forecast due to an increase in unit sales and an improvement in the product mix of digital cameras as well as the positive impact of foreign exchange rates, partially offset by the above-mentioned lower unit sales of televisions.

Of course it was easy to do better than the Q2 in 2020 (Corona outbreak). But sales are still higher than expected and forecast is great too!

We finally got our first zoom that starts at f/2.0. This is an impressive achievement from Tamron. We have no details about the image quality and the price of the lens. ut let’s assume price isn’t crazy and image quality very good, I wonder:
