I got a few mails from readers confirming that Sony shipped a small new Stock of 70-200mm GM lenses. One of the new owners Humberto Garcia reported on Facebook had his lens preordered in July and got the lens today. Back in September Sony reported that waiting time is around 3 months because of the “High Demand” of this lens.

Lensvide posted this video interview with Zeiss at Photokina. At the end of the interview Zeiss said lens sales for DSLR are decreasing but they managed to compensate this with the increasing sales of Batis and Loxia lenses. They are working hard on making more Batis and Loxia lenses.
