On Facebook Rokinon announces that it will ship the new 50mm f/1.4 FE autofocus lens in August. And it will cost “around $699” (so they say).

In the comment system Rokinon also said the 14mm f/2.8 FE autofocus lens is estimated to ship in October.

I talked to a couple of EU stores. And they confirm that all Sony A7 series cameras are now in short supply. Sony told them that they will be able to resupply by September only! I am not sure about the situation in USA and Asia yet but I expect to see the same kind of supply issues too.

So if you plan to buy a new A7 camera I suggest you to pull the trigger now before it’s too late!
