Confirmed: Sony A9III will have a world’s first feature on any professional sports/wildlife photography camera

Sony will announce the new A9III and new 300mm GM II lens on November 7

I finally got a confirmation from ONE trusted source that the Sony A9III will be announced next week along the 300mm f/2.8 GM.

Another trusted source also told me that while there are events planed on November 8 and 9 all around the world…the actual announcement should happen on November 7th at 15:00 London time.

Still no confirmation about a possible A1 firmware update…but I hope it’s coming!

Wild rumor: Sony A7sIV has no 8k, but first Alpha camera with new 2-layer sensor?

We know for a fact that Sony registered two new High End cameras in China: One is 100% sure to be the A9III ( announcement on November 8th or January at max). But it’s totally unclear yet what the second camera is. An obvious guess would be the this is the A7sIV as it’s the current A7sIII is the oldest Full Frame camera after the A9II. And therefore expected to get a successor sometimes in 2024.

There are some early wild rumors I am receiving about this new A7sIV. Nothing from trusted sources…and therefore highly unreliable. Some of those rumors say the A7sIV would be the first Alpha camera with the new 2-layer sensor from Sony. Check out the video to hear out the specs!

CONFIRMED: 300mm GM to be announced on November 8th. Sony A9III now or in early January?

A second source confirmed the Sony 300mm f/2.8 GM will be announced on November 8th.

I still got NO confirmation the A9III will be announced on that same event. All I am sure about is that if it’s not going to be announced next week that with 100% certainty it will be announced on the next Sony event that is scheduled for January. But it simply might be that Sony is incredibly tight lipped on this camera as it I know they spent a lot of advertisement money on this camera.
