A source that shared the correct Sony ZV-1F specs in the past shared some details about the Nikon ZF (watch my video above). This camera wants to appeal to photographers that love to own a camera with a more “classic” look. This puts it into direct competition with the soon to be announced Sony A7cII and A7cR that have will tap into the same pool of photographers. If the rumors specs are correct I hope Sony will take note of this and also price the new A7c camera at a competitive price!

As you know for months I told you that some sort of compact cine camera would be announced by Sony. And finally a Reddit user spotted this image of this camera on the set of a new Hollywood movie about F1 with Brad Pitt as main actor. YMcinema spotted more images of the 6K Venice camera:

There are no detailed specs of the camera. As soon as I have more I will share it on SAR. Stay tuned!

Two sources confirmed that Sony will very soon announce two new cameras: The Sony A7cII and the Sony A7cR. The A7cR will be the very first high resolution camera in the A7c lineup. The trusted sources told me announcement should happen within the next 2 months.

I got no 100% confirmed specs but a new source told me the Sony A7cII has the 33MP sensor from the A7IV and the A7cR has the 61MP sensor from the A7rV. Both cameras should implement the new AI features and the usual expected improvements like new menu, better autofocus and so forth.  I have no info about the resolution of the EVF (which I hope to be the same of the A7rV).

Viltrox shared the first image of the E-mount version of their new 27mm f/1.2 APS-C autofocus lens. Moreover they also officially confirmed that a new 135mm f/1.8 FE is coming too!

The success of the Sony FX camera lineup is forcing the competition to reshape their video camera strategy. Blackmagic is reported to announce more compact more “boxy” camera with L-mount that will somehow resemble some of the Sony cameras!

Yongnuo will soon launch the new 50mm F1.8 DA DSM II APS-C E-mount lens. Coating, lens barrel, AF speed, and AF accuracy will be improved on this new version.
