Tamron 17-28mm F2.8 Di III VXD G2 will be released later this year. This new lens uses VXD drive to achieve faster AF speed and accuracy. The lens is expected to go on sale at the end of the year. (Previously there were rumors that it was June)
Tamron just recently updated the 28-75mm lens to version II. So I definitely expect the wide angle zoom to be updated too.
Leaked image of the new 24-70mm GM II
Only a few hours to go folks! On April 27 at 3pm London time Sony will announce the new 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II lens. I kindly invite you to follow the live blogging here on SAR. Moreover new announcements will follow soon. In may Sigma is expected to announce up to three new E-mount lenses (16-28mm f/2.8, 50mm f/1.2 and 50mm f/2.0). And in May-June Sony will announce a couple of other new E-mount lenses.

CameraBeta reports that the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 FE is scheduled to be released by end of the year.
What we know for sure is that Sigma will soon announce a bunch of new E-mount lenses (I guess around mid May). It’s expected we get:
A SAR reader (Thanks!) just spotted this image of the new Sony 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II. The lens will be announced on April 27 at 3pm London time.
The image shows the “GM 2” mark on the lens near the mount. You can also notice it’s quite a compact lens. I also have been told this:

Here i am going to repost it and add some comments about what’s likely and not likely:
SAR comment: I can confirm it’s coming late 2022. 8K I cannot confirm but I think it’s highly likely.
SAR comment: I think that it will be released in 2023 only due the persistent chip shortages.
SAR comment: ZV camera will now arrive in late 2022 only! As of the “unknown” model this is still unclear if it will be announced in 2022.
SAR comment: The 24-70mm GM II is coming on April 27. The 85mm 1.2 may be announced before summer. The new Sigma lenses are going to be announced within the next couple of weeks.

One reliable source now told me that Sony will have a product announcement on April 27 at 16:00 Berlin time. I am pretty sure we will get the new Sony 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II lens!
