Cool news: Samyang/Schneider also teasing a new 60-180mm f/2.8 FE and 28-135mm f/2.8 FE lens!

Marco Bakker posted this image of the Samyang booth at the IBC show in Amsterdam. And from left to right you see these lenses:

  • 14-24mm f/2.8 L-mount lens (E-mount lens version is already listed here).
  • 24-60mm f/2.8 L-mount lens (E-mount lens announced to come in autumn)
  • A newly announced 60-180mm f/2.8 FE lens!
  • And an impressive 28-135mm f/2.8 FE lens!

There’s no word yet on pricing or release dates, but 2026 is shaping up to bring a flood of fast f/2.8 zooms — and that’s seriously exciting!

I’m really excited about this 28-135mm f/2.8. It’s a one-of-a-kind lens in the E-mount lineup—so far, no f/2.8 zoom even comes close to reaching 100mm. What’s your take on it?
