First leaked image of the new Sony 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II lens!
A SAR reader (Thanks!) just spotted this image of the new Sony 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II. The lens will be announced on April 27 at 3pm London time.
The image shows the “GM 2” mark on the lens near the mount. You can also notice it’s quite a compact lens. I also have been told this:
- it’s extremely sharp
- designed like the current 70-200 GM II
- it’s the lightest 24-70mm f/2.8 on the market
- it’s also smaller than the previous version
