Tony Northrup thinks Sony’s biggest mistake is not developing the A-mount system

Tony Northrup listed the biggest mistakes from the major photography companies. And watch from minute 6.30 to hear what he thinks about Sony. He says the one big wrong step from Sony was to stop developing the A-mount system which autofocus system is way “superior” to the E-mount system. I kinda of agree with that. Sony should “revive” the A-mount system!

Back in May the USA launch of the new Sony 68 got delayed because of the Kumamoto sensor production stop. Well the wait is finally over and the camera is in Stock for the first time at BHphoto, Amazon and Adorama.

This wont’ struck as a surprise any of our readers. But we can confirm via one very highly trusted source that Sony will launch a new 16-35mm f/2.8 FE GM lens. While the source didn’t share yet any detail about the possible release date he said the lens was the “next GM zoom” on roadmap. I guess Photokina could be the right place for that announcement…
