Marques Brownlee is right: It’s time for Sony to use Android (or iOS) on their cameras!
If you watch the video from minute 5:10 Marques explains why mirrorless camera manufacturers should finally adopt Android (or iOS). It’s the only way to close the gab between connectivity/usability and image quality. I also think it would create a huge interest on Sony cameras. Imagine:
- Clean and well known menu layout
- Third party APP support
- Full Internet connectivity (instant backup for example)
To me this would be a game changer for the entire Alpha System. And if Sony doesn’t do that, they risk to be a big step back to the company who does it first!
