RUMOR: Sony 35mm f/1.4 GM looks very close to the 24mm GM and is just a tiny bit bigger

On left the current 24mm f/1.4 GM and on the right the current Zeiss 35mm f/1.4. The new GM lens will be something in between in terms of size. Courtesy: CameraSize

A trusted source from Asia saw the new 35mm f/1.4 GM lens and told me this:

• The new lens is almost the same size as the 24/1.4, just little bit bigger
• and same exterior design as 24/1.4

Makes sense. Question is, will it still be announced before Christmas or in January/February along the new A9 camera?
