One source (thanks!) claims that the Sony A7V will be announced on December 2 at around 2–3 PM London time. While I’m not 100% certain yet, this timing seems very plausible — Sony often unveils major gear on a Tuesday or Wednesday, and several other sources have already confirmed the launch is set for early December.
That means you’ve got about 20 days to gather the funds — roughly $3,000 — if you want to grab the camera on launch day! I’ve also been told that only first-day preorders are likely to ship before Christmas, while anyone ordering even a day later could see their delivery pushed to January.
