Reminder: Save $170 by simply purchasing the $7 cheap chinese metal hood (there is one here on eBay) instead of the original expensive Sony hood.

Do you usually buy a $2800 camera in a hurry? I do get some 50%-70%off in a hurry, without even think further.

6 months ago |The RX1 seems to be quite hard to get. It’s already back to 3-6 weeks ship date. I know many hope this camera doesn’t do well but it’s looking like that won’t be the case.

6 months ago |The interchangeable lens version will be available within 18 months , too much research and development gone on here, to limit this to a one off camera. Put an optical viewfinder in the next one, and it’s a Leica beater. There will still be a waiting list at Leica, but that’s another story
