Luca Rossini just finished the 365 days project with the NEX-7 and started a new one by using the Sony RX1. For the next 365 days he will take one picture per day with the Sony RX1. And we will keep a close eye on you Luca to be sure you will not miss one single day

4 months ago |The symbol doesn’t make it an Alpha. Neither does the lens adapter, otherwise the NEX video cameras would also have the symbol.

4 months ago |α is obviously used by Sony to brand their interchangeable lens photography – my guess: The forthcoming Full Frame NEX with LA-EA4 Translucent Mirror Adapter will close the circle for Sony becoming read for possibly cancelling A-Mount Cameras in case of too few customers. Not sure if Sony’s might really take this step, but they’re defintely moving forward to have this option…

4 months ago |I must say I agree with him. As much as instagram is a trend today, 365 projects were also a trend some time ago. Some where called ‘a photo a day’ as well. Although interesting, it is not exceptional. I believe publishing a photo a day is nothing remarkable, what would e remarkable is stopping the pretention to call a normal routine ‘a project’ and just make great photos.
I take photographs daily and I am sure many here do it too. The fact we dont publish our work, or hobby, daily doesnt mean we are lesser engaged in the medium than a photographer who shows one photo per day.

4 months ago |I had long test period of the Canon 5DmarkIII and RX-1. In terms of picture and file quality the RX-1 better. ( Canon is also very very good camera in general )In aspect of the 35 mm focal range RX-1 the best to date.

4 months ago |There are millions of people posting one or more picture every day, on flickr, instagram, facebook, tumbler.. Every one could be considered a project. Nothing against mr. Rossini (good luck!), simply there’s nothing so special in the kind of project itself. Quality of photos can be awesome/medium/low due to different reasons, but the project alone, 1 pic every day, is anything special at all.
