5 months ago |He’s in the business of selling cameras. It’s extremely rare he does anything but talk up cameras. Also, I don’t think he takes that much time to get the details down. So in this case, I suspect he saw the steady shot mode and just assumed it applied to all cases rather than just video.
In other words, I assume it was just an honest error.

And Chris: Last I heard not even the Nex 6 had very fast AF indoors.

5 months ago |I heard about the sub-par AF speed elsewhere too. I don’t know why Sony didn’t use NEX’s AF module with this camera.

5 months ago |You think AF is a module? How fast the AF is has a lot to do with the lens. There is a lot of glass in that lens, and some of it has to be made to move to focus the image. Moving up to FF while sticking with CDAF has to cost somewhere.
USB charging
5 months ago |Having the extra option of usb charging is great. After using a Nex6, I kind of appreciate the build in USB charging function.
I had incident where I forgot to bring the supplied wall-usb charging adapter with me, and my camera went flat. It was the built in usb charging function that saved the day. (I charge it on my notebook using my mobile phone cable).
And for those who will still prefer the traditional way of charging or perhaps to charge a 2nd battery at the same time, one could simply purchase a extra external battery charger (which does not cost much on ebay).

5 months ago |If you take a look at the his youtube channel, you will see that he modified his caption to state that the camera stills does not have the image stabilization function.
