100% Confirmed: Sony A7V Launching Early December with 33MP Sensor and New Leaked Images!
The past horse I got some additional info:
- Now I am 100% certain the Sony A7V will be announced in very early December (Dec 5?)
- 100% confirmed the sensor is 33MP (unclear if same or updated version of the Sony A7IV sensor)
- Improved EVF (unclear about resolution)
- I got two more leaked images (see below)
Sony A7V rumored specs:
- 33MP sensor (unclear if same of the A7IV or tweaked or new partially stacked)
- improved fps rate (15fps?)
- 8 stops IBIS
- new AI chip like the Sony A1II
- 4 way fully articulating screen
- 2x dual Type A SD slot
- no C5 button
- improved EVF (5.6m dot?)
- Same Sony A7rV body design.
- price close to $3000
- Announcement in early November
- Limited batch ships before Christmas
Three lenses are on Sony’s roadmap:
- 100-400mm f/4.0 GM
- 100-400mm G (variable aperture)
- ultra wide angle f/2.0 GM zoom
So that’s it for now! I hope we will soon get the definitive answer about the sensor…is it new or not?
