Eu readers deal: 350 Euro off on the 16-35mm GM lens at Amazon

EU readers save quite big on the 16-35mm f/2.8 GM lens sold on Amazon Spain. The price is 350 Euro lower than the best price I found in Germany. As usual all EU citizen can buy from the Amazon Spain store and correct VAT applies too. There is also a 100 Euro off on the 24-70mm f/2.8 GM.

These are my early thoughts on this camera purely based on specs and previews from youtubers:

What’s to like about the new A6400:
– Packs a lot of tech into a relatively affordable camera ($900)
– Class leading autofocus tech
– Wildlife shooters will love the Animal EYE-AF
– selfie screen if you are one of those people who needs it
– Built-in Intervalometer
– plenty of nice incremental improvements on usability and image quality

What’s not to like:
– Doesn’t have on sensor stabilization
– Fully articulating side screen would have it made easier for youtuber to use the hotshoe mic
– Doesn’t use the new Z-battery
– same unexciting conservative A6xxx body
– same LCD resolution as previous A6500 A6300 cameras
– no improvements on weather sealing

Overall impression:
This is a not so exiting new camera that actually has many sensible improvements. After the A7III this is probably the second best E-mount camera in terms or price-quality balance.
