A99 price drops to $2,550 at BigValue…

[shoplink 16246 ebay]

The A99 price dropped down to $2,550 at [shoplink 16246 ebay]BigValue (on eBay)[/shoplink]. That’s now $250 less than the regular price. Still not a huge price drop like we had on the Nikon FF cameras but we are getting there…slowly :)

Small price drops are also ongoing at Wex and eBay Europe. I think another $200-300 price drop would help Sony to significantly increase the camera sales. But that’s of course just a instinct based opinion. Sony will know it better what they need to push the camera sales.

Somebody asked me about the RX10 specs. I have no info yet about it. Will try to digg into it with my sources. The RX1 is a luxurious expensive camera, the RX100 is a pocketable cameras. If you ask me I would like to have the perfect mix between the two. A High image quality sensor in a compact size. The best would be to use a fixed, compact and high quality f/2.0 prime lens. Something similar exists already, ti’s called Fuji X100 :)

What’s your perfect RX10?

The RX1 is now again back in Stock at Amazon (Click here).

And me I am back on the rumor work. I have plenty of things I am working on. And certainly we can expect a lot of fire from the NEX front!
