Meike announces four new E-mount lenses (but they aren’t really new…)

meike25

You all know Meike for their [shoplink 48243 ebay]Sony battery grips (Click here)[/shoplink]. Well today they also announced their first manual focusing E-mount lenses:
Meike 25mm f/0.95 (info here).
Meike 28mm f/1.8 (info here).
Meike 35mm f/1.7 (info here).
Meike 50mm f/2.0 (info here).

But the truth is that those are more real new lenses. Those lenses are already available on eBay under the [shoplink 48244 ebay]Kaxinda brand name (Click here)[/shoplink]. I certainly don’t expect those lenses to be good optical performer…

ePhotozine reviewed the 50mm f/2.0 Meike lens and writes:

From a purist point of view, the Meike 50mm f/2 gives total freedom from automation. This may well appeal to some photographers who will enjoy the process of using it and live with the soft edges, even using its shortcomings to create distinctive images. For most, there are inexpensive marque lenses that are sharper and much easier to use, for not very much more money.

The build quality is very nice as the lens is an all metal construction and feels very solid, tolerances are very low and the markings are engraved and filled with white (and red) paint.
