As you know recently NEXpro (Click here) released the “world’s first Hot shoe designed for SONY NEX-5 and SONY NEX-5n” It costs around $80. A SAR reader spotted an even cheaper chinese Hot Shoe adapter on [shoplink 12797 ebay]eBay (Click here)[/shoplink]. As usual be careful with these ebay listenings. let me know if you tried that before. If it works we would save almost $50!

Don’t miss the chance to grab one of the (very few) Zeiss 24mm f/1.8 lenses that are in Stock right now at BHphoto (Click here). That lens is so difficult to find (at least in US stores). Amazon (Click here) has an overpriced used copy only for sale (Click here). Sony really needs to push the lens production. And as long as the Zeiss isn’t available I fear we have to wait until we can get the other new NEX lens(es) that will be announced soon!

Sigma and Tamron have proven to make some supe rhigh quality lenses for the NEX system. But there is another third party E-mount lens maker that is realitevly unkown. Yasuhara made a very exotic real 5x macro lens for the NEX system and it is in Stock for the first time at BHphoto (Click here). It’s a good quality lens and it has been rcently tested at Lensrentals (Click here).
