Doug:Both Gordon Laing (CameraLabs.com) and I also picked the a7R II as our camera of the year at All About the Gear: http://thisweekinphoto.com/2015-wrap-up/ (audio and video podcast).

Jared:It’s one of the most in-depth reviews you will ever find on the RX100 IV. I included all the full res exports as well as 8 RAW files straight from the camera. http://froknowsphoto.com/sony-rx100-iv-review/

Vangelis:This is the link to my new photography book, which I think you and your readers might find interesting. All the images in it, were created exclusively with Sony mirrorless cameras over the past four years. Hope you like it. http://issuu.com/vangelisdelegos/docs/vangelis_delegos_-_mirrorless_photo

Darin: I just wanted to share this little film that’s in the finals for a “best short film” for kayaking. It was shot on a Sony NEX-5r infrared converted to 720nm so one could say it’s a different approach for sports video. It’s video #2 “Cherry Sundae”.

I thought maybe my work is interesting to see the result of the combo underwater, for me it is the best combination for underwater macro photography.
I m using the new underwater housing from Nauticam for the A7rII+Macro G OSS FE90mmF2,8, 2x Inon strobes,2x lights from Sola light & motion ports and on some of the pictures the SMC(super macro converter) from Nauticam.
I went on a trip to Bali in November on the link below you can enjoy some of the pictures.

(SR3) Rumors about a new FE lens manufacturer…

sony

An anonymous source told me this:

Speaking to the guys in XXX (Editor’s note: removed name and location) yesterday, one of them said a new manufacturer is releasing lenses for FE mount next year, and its “not who’d you think”, i checked and he didnt mean voigtlander, but would tell me no more other than “price point a bit below Zeiss level”.

Not sure what company this could be. Let’s hope “below Zeiss level” also means that these lenses will be high quality just like Zeiss lenses.
