Before to start the new news and rumor week I have to admit that in these days I have zero time left to answer all your mails. I am very busy at work and during my pauses and free time I have a lot of work on SAR. I will catch up with the mail correspondence as soon as I can.

And now back to rumor work….

And here it is the new “Exmor RS” sensor!

Most of you were right guys! The added “S” letter within the new “Exmor RS” sensor brand stays for “Stacked”. The full description of the new technology is available here at Sony.net. I guess these kind of sensors will find their use in cellulars and compact cameras and not so on larger sensor cameras.
