Sony sent out an official answer to Christos Georgiu with a temporary fix of the Sony A1 Wifi/Bluetooth connection issues after the firmware update:

With reference to your enquiry regarding Sony ILCE-1, kindly note that we have received the outcome of the investigation which confirms that you can temporarily use the following workaround untill the fix will be released:
– [Wi-Fi] connect by selecting [Manual] in [IP Address Setting] of [Access Point Set.] under [Wi-Fi] and specifying the camera’s IP address.
– [LAN IP Address Setting] of [Wired LAN]
You can connect by selecting [Manual] and specifying the camera’s IP address.

However, The PC remote function and the sync release function may not be available.
