– Instagram: Follow @sonyalphagallery and tag us on your picture to give us the permission to repost your image on the instagram gallery and on SAR (we will credit you)
– Facebook: Submit your picture on our group: facebook.com/groups/sonyalphacamera. Please add the hashtag “#sonyalphagallery ” to grant the permission for reposting on SAR. Without the hashtag we will not add your picture!
– Forum: Submit your picture on the SonyAlphaForum image section and add the hashtag “#sonyalphagallery ”
3) Like and comment the pictures from other readers here: instagram.com/sonyalphagallery, facebook.com/groups/sonyalphacamera and on SonyAlphaForum.
4) A selection of most liked pictures by the community and by me SAR admin will be posted weekly on SAR.

Kenko Tokina Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce the sales release of the Tokina SZ SUPER TELE 500mm F8 Reflex MF lens. With the debut of the SZX SUPER TELE 400mm F8 Reflex MF, the SZ series offering a range of exciting products with specific features and valuable advantages.

Sales will commence on February 18, 2022.

Tokina SZ SUPER TELE 500mm F8 Reflex MF is a 500mm super tele lens that adopts catadioptric type optical design with a constant F8 aperture. The lens offers a compact alternative to standard tele photo lenses as more and more photographers are looking for easy-to-carry gear. Keeping in mind active travel photographers that seek outdoor landscape, wild nature or birds, the 500mm F8 Reflex MF is designed as a compact and lightweight mirror lens – a type of lens to be rediscovered in this new era of also compact but high-tech mirrorless cameras. The Tokina SZ SUPER TELE 500mm F8 Reflex MF adopts a T-mount standard (pitch 0.75mm, thread 42mm) that allows the lens to be attached to any camera by using mount adapters.

Today Canon announced their new R5c video focused camera version (specs at BHphoto and Adorama). This might be considered an official competitor of the Sony A1 and you can find a full R5c vs A1 spec comparison on that special BH page. On the pro side this camera shoots 8k60p but on the downsides it doens’t have IBIS, a huge cooling vent and only a micro Hdmi.

The first camera to be announced in 2022 should be a new kind of ZV-1 compact camera model. The camera will start shipping out in Q2 (April-June). I have no specs yet but it doesn’t sound like a successor of the current ZV-1, but more likely a (cheaper?) variation.

The Chinese company Rockstar will soon announce this new 40mm f/5.6 FE lens. Specs:

• 0,4m close focus
• black and silver versions
• 150g
• 200 Dollars
• Leica M mount will be released first with E-mount version coming soon after…

Not really sure why a f/5.6 prime would be interesting.
