Dpreview had a chat with Joe Biden’s official photographer Adam Schultz. It’s curious to note he uses three(!!!) Sony A9II cameras for his work. He says:
DxOPhotoLab 4 features DxO DeepPRIME, a revolutionary demosaicing and denoising technology based on artificial intelligence and trained with deep learning.
DxO PhotoLab 4 has also added a new dynamic interface system called DxO Smart Workspace, enriched its photo library with a batch renaming feature, and created an even simpler workflow by adding a new and exclusive editing history tool called DxO Advanced History and the ability to selectively copy and paste specific settings. Lastly, the new DxO Instant Watermarking feature lets users sign their photos by adding a watermark directly to the image.
Key new features:
DxO DeepPrime: a revolutionary demosaicing and denoising technology based on artificial intelligence and trained with deep learning.
DxO Smart Workspace: a new dynamic interface with a simpler workflow with batch renaming.
DxO Advanced History: a new and exclusive editing history tool to scroll back to different moments in the editing process.
Selective Copy Paste: to synchronise the settings of several similar images by applying individual edits from one photo to another.
Instant Watermaking: to add watermarks directly to your photos.

I spotted a new Tamron patent describing two new lens designs for Full Frame mirrorless. Tamron is also known for selling their optical designs to Zeiss (for their Batis line). But the design of the 135mm f/2.8 lens is very different from the current Batis 135mm lens.
Lightroom 10 now supports a bunch of new cameras including the A7c and A7sIII (full list here). It also supports a ton of new Sigma-Voigtlander FE lenses (full list here)

Next year we are going to get a new A9III and A7IV camera for sure. The new Sony A7rV is more likely to be introduced in 2022. I know Sony read us so please give them a general idea of the necessary improvements (Note: I didn’t add features like fully articulating screen, same A7sIII EVF…because these are kind of obvious to be featured on the A7rV too).
