It has corrected the phenomenon whereby the image is disturbed during the focus drive when the camera is set to auto with the distortion correction function in the camera and shooting a movie.
It has improved the effect of the in-body peripheral illumination correction function.

It would be about time for Sony to launch a proper High End model A7000 camera to compete against the Fuji X-T line. I know it’s unlikely this will happen :( but at least we might know Sony now has a sensor for this!
The IMX671AQR specs sheet leaked out. The APS-C sensor has 43MP and records 8K 12bit video too! It also has stacked DRAM and up to 16 bit depth for stills images:
Now dear Sony, would you listen to our community and make such a high end APS-C camera? :)
A couple of months ago Viltrox has announced the launch of three new E-mount lenses. Well we might not see them any time soon. Viltrox confirmed in a chat that they have to delay the launch due the Coronavirus outbreak. The problem is literally that “we are not able to get back to office” (via Dpreview Forum). I wish the Viltrox team all the best for their safety!
Here are new images of the three new Viltrox APS-C E-mount autofocus lenses:
The past hours I started to gather some more info about the Bloomberg news about Sony. And I am starting to have some doubts about the veracity of this “rumor”. Here is why:
1) Not so diligent journalist:
A reliable Japanese source told me this:
That Bloomberg news must be fake. Original news were written in Japan. https://www.bloomberg.co.jp/news/articles/2020-02-14/Q5GJW3T0AFB601 This news were writtine by 望月崇 “Mochizuki Takashi”. He is notorious for fake news about Sony PS5. Due to several fake news, he got fired by WSJ. Be careful!
2) Wrong Olympus new reporting:
Just recently Bloomberg said Olympus was considering selling their camera division and misquoted an Olympus manager to support the story. Well also this “rumor” was debunked directly by Olympus.
Bloomberg’s institutional credibility is severely damaged, and everything they publish should be treated with skepticism until they retract the story or provide evidence that it was true.
In summary:
These three mentioned arguments plus discussions with other folks made me realize this story might be bogus…
