Dale: “I wrote a review of the Canon 400mm 5.6 adapted to the A7R2. Since there is no native long e-mount lens this is the best option I have found for wildlife after several other lenses. There is very little written about this combination and I believe this would be very helpful for many folks needing a long lens for Sony E-Mount. http://midsierramusing.blogspot.com/2016/11/the-sony-a7r2-with-canon-400mm-56-lens.html”
Anonymous: “I recently had the opportunity to test lens Sigma 30 / 1.4 C DN with a6000. What conclusions? Small size, light weight, fast automatic AF, maximum aperture F/1.4, the price – less than $ 350. In practice even at maximum aperture in the center of the frame provides an acceptable resolution. Bokeh is good, but its shape at f/1.4 not completely satisfied. Above f/2 is already really good. For users of Sony E is a very good choice. Juha: “This video was shot mostly on Sony A7RII with 55mm f/1.8 and 35mm f/2.8 Sony Zeiss. A few shots were filmed on A7s with Sony Zeiss 24-70 f/4. It was entirely shot in S – Log 2 mostly at 60 fps some shots were filmed at 120 fps and scaled up. I edited it in Premiere CC and used D-Luts and Lumetri for Grading.
It is really convenient using these type of compact but capable cameras for a shoot like this – it was all shot handheld. Our intention was to make a Music video which is more like a short film, as the music is a non album track and rather a sound collage. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d4YkyxcV6-U”
