Sony is assembling the new RX1rII camera in Japan. There is special trained people who have to perfectly align the Lens and Sensor. Nice to see Sony is taking care about quality and precision!

And Trustedreviews posted a hands-on review:

The Sony RX1R II is a camera easy to lust after. A full-frame sensor in an ultra-portable body? It’s a photographic dream come true.

RX1rII worldwide preorders will start on November 5 at 8am New York time (Source: Bhphoto, Amazon and Adorama)

Vit:This is the part 3 of the Sony a7rII review. The first two test were mainly about the camera quality and lowlight performance. And this part 3 is just random video in Melbourne City. I shot the video in Super 35mm mode 4K XAVC-S format with S-Log 2 picture profile, used EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM lens with Metabones T SpeedBooster Ultra. And graded in FilmConvert Pro 2.1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XhrUx5Z7roM

Jonas:I bought an a7Rii last week and i tried the 100fps 720p xavc-s recording for some random garden trampoline shots on slog2.
I’ve never done any color grading before so bear with me for lack of post production skills.

Techart firmware update improves the autofocus performance on Contax G lenses!

[shoplink 39860 ebay]Bildschirmfoto 2015-10-09 um 10.10.41[/shoplink]

Techart again updated the firmware for their [shoplink 39860 ebay]Contax G to E-mount autofocus adapter (available here on eBay)[/shoplink]. With the new adapter autofocus speed has been again improved! You can download the firmware on Google Play (Click here) or iTunes (Click here). Techart Contax page: techart-logic.com/2015/G2.html

Chad Wadsworth already tested the new version and writes:

As of revision 2.1.0, released in October, 2015, the performance is rock solid with AF speed on both my lenses (45/2 and 90/2.8) that rivals a native lens – yes you read that correctly. I’ve noticed some minor hunting in low contrast / low light subjects but nothing major and native FE lenses frequently do the same. AF accuracy is spot on and the MF implementation now works as it used to, meaning that you can engage MF at any time by adjusting the small focus dial on the adapter. This is a major achievement by TecArt and finally makes these lenses viable options that I would feel confident shooting even for paid work.

And there are two videos posted on SonyAlphaCameras do show how good and how noisy(!) the adapter works on the Sony A7rII.

These are the Contax Full Frame lenses you can use on the A7-A7r-A7s and APS-C E-mount camera with full autofocus and electronic aperture control:
