Sony Japan issued an official statement saying that the new 70-200mm FE GM lens will ship in September only. Also the two “SEL14TC” and “SEL20TC” teleconverters will ship in September.
It’s not clear why Sony had to postpone the lens shipment from the original June target. Maybe the Kumamoto earthquake had some sort of chain effect on the lens production too.

Sony Japan issued an official statement saying. Following the Kumamoto earthquake damage there is a supply issue that will cause a delay on the production of the following cameras:
α7
α7R
α7S
α5100
α77 II
α99
Note that the newer cameras like the second generation A7 camera series and the A63000 are not listed. It’s clear that Sony’s effort is to keep the production alive on their key products.

Adam Sherratt: “Myself and a friend are publishing a charity photography calendar, with some of the photos captured on Sony a7rii. We are raising funds for a man who can’t get treatment for a rare form of bladder cancer on the NHS (uk national health service) and so has to pay for it privately. Would be great if you could share a link to see if we can drum up some support. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/landscapes-light-2017-calendar#/”

Hugh Brownstone interviewed Hasselblad manager Paul Claesson. Couple of interesting notes:
1) They managed to “squeeze out” one more stop of the 50MP sensor than the competition (it goes up to ISO 25,600) 2) Hasselblad says they don’t have on sensor image stabilization because it would degrade image quality
