Nokishita leaked the specs of the 90mm f/2.8 L-mount lens. The FE version will basically have the same specs:

90mm F2.8 DG DN | Contemporary
11 lenses in 10 groups
9 diaphragm blades (circular diaphragm)
minimum shooting distance 0.5m
maximum shooting magnification 1: 5
filter diameter 55mm
Size φ64×59.7mm
weight 295g
Suggested retail price in Japan the same as the 35mm F2

Sigma will also announce a new 24mm f/2.0 DG DN Contemporary lens.

I finally got Sony A7IV specs from a solid source. I think there is a 95% chance those are right:

• launch in October (if chip supply permits this)
• Newly developed 33MP sensor
• 5.5 stops of IBIS (+ AS)

I have been told Sony’s goal with the A7IV is to really fight back with Canon. Expect it to be more than an “updated” Sony A7III. I also got some rumors from another new source but I don’t know how good that info is. I will eventually post this “non solid rumor” part on Monday.

I told you 10 days ago that the A7IV is now likely to be announced in October only due the worldwide chip shortage problem. Luckily a highly trusted source (THANKS!!!) shared finally some 99% reliable specs. I will post them at 16:00 London time when I am back home and can follow your live comments and questions!

Sigma will soon announce new FE lenses. And we will surely get these two:

• 90mm f/2.8 DG DN Contemporary
• 24mm f/2.0 DG DN Contemporary

As reported by Fuji rumors we will get three new E-mount lenses:

APS-C 40mm f2.8 macro lens with Sony/Fuji/Canon/M43/Z/L mount.
90mm f1.25 lens with Sony E/Fuji GFX mount.
APS-C 23mm f1.4 lens with Sony/Fuji/Canon/M43 mount.

Within this leaked flyer Tamron unveils the lens will be released on September 24

The same source that first told me about the ZV-E10 camera launch delay now told me that Sony moved the A7IV launch date from mid September to at least October. He also told me that supplies will be limited during the first months :/

This was to be expected. The chip shortage is a big issue for 2021. Many news outlets reported that situation should normalize in 2022 only.
