Now try this: Search for the Sony A6300 on the BHphoto website and it now says that “this item is discontinued“. It’s many years Sony does NOT discontinue their older cameras. So this is quite a news and also a major prove that our rumors are spot on:
Tomorrow Sony will launch two new APS-C Cameras. Those likely to be the A6700 (with IBIS) and A6200!

This is the first leaked image of the new Samyang 18mm f/2.8 FE lens! The lens will be announced on August 29. It will be the autofocus FE lens number eight from Samyang.

A6700 mockup
Trusted sources still didn’t give me tech specs of the new A6700. All we got so far from a source is that the A6700 is something like the A6400 but with IBIS. Still two more sources said that the A6700 is more exciting than the “A6400+IBIS” rumor suggests.
I don’t know what this means and I also don’t want to hype you too much on this. After all this is a very subjective matter…
What we know so far is this:
Sony has a product launch press event on August 29/30 ( I guess the public announcement will follow the event)
It’s rumored that they will announce two new APS-C E-mount cameras
Those cameras could be the new A6200 (low specs A6400 version) and the new A6700 (has IBIS).
A third (A7sIII?) camera will be announced on soon to follow new press event…
UPDATE:
Plenty of rumors sites refer to this post on Personal View to say that these might be the A6700 specs. But I talked to PV and they told me it’s a mix of compilation, guesss and “talk” :)
It’s time you learn a dark secret about me: For months now I am using a broken keyboard. I own one of these famous 2016 Macbook PRO’s that keep having issues with their Keyboard. Because of all the rumors and announcements I had this summer I couldn’t afford to give away my laptop for the third time(!) for 1-2 weeks.
And now again we will have Sony announcement on August 29 and in September more Sony-Tamron-Sigma announcements :(
So please pardon me if you see those kind of errors:
It sucks…and now I am waiting to get the new 16 inch Macbook PRO that should b announced soon. It will have the classic “scissor” keyboard.

It’s pretty clear from the image that we should get a new zoom and three primes. The zoom looks to be something like a 70-200mm f/2.8 lens. I wonder how fast the primes will be…
Still from what I heard it will still take some time to see those four lenses announced. They will be displayed at the PhotoPlus Show in October and NOT before that!

Tamron will soon launch not one, not two not three BUT FOUR(!!!) new FE lenses!
I have no info about the possible specs yet but I have been told we might “see” something within 24-48 hours!
