Sigma will announce three new E-mount lenses on April 3: First leaked image of the new 23mm f/1.4 E lens!

A trusted spruce confirmed that Sigma will announce the 17mm f/4, 50mm f/2 and 23mm f/1.4 on April 3. After those three lenses I expect Sigma to focus on more unique “one of a kind lenses” (my article about this here). There will be also a different version of the classic 70-20mm f/2.8 lens (my article about this here). I also got a first image of the new Sigma 23mm lens!

Will soon Samyang announce a new E-mount zoom?

The only zoom in Samyang’s lineup is this 24-70mm f/2.8 lens

I just got this from a new source (Thanks!):

Samyang is going to announce a new lens end of this month. It’s new to Samyang but it is not new to Sony users. It’s a zoom and it’s a portrait champion.

This sounds like we are getting a 70-200mm f/2.8 E-mount lens…what do you think?

New leaked image of the Sony ZV-E1

A reader spotted the first image of the new Sony ZV-E1. Note that this image has been slightly modified (with cuts) for privacy reasons. You can compare this image with that of the ZV-E10 here:

As you can see there are some evident differences:

Likely first tiny image of the Sony ZV-E1 and new confirmed specs!

A SAR reader (Thanks!) spotted what might be the first small piece of image showing the ZV-E1. This has been shared by a Instagrammer. He also told me what he learned from this image:

  • big back wheel
  • red REC button on top
  • second button looks like front/back focus like other ZV
  • grip bigger then ZV-1

And trusted sources share some more details about the ZV-E1:

  • AF from a7r V but it has even better detection!
  • Body overheat a lot at the moment
  • Lots of new AI features, very innovative
  • Price is between $2,000 and 2500$

So this is the Summary of the Sony ZV-E1 specs:

  • New ZV-E1 E-mount camera is based on the Sony As7III
  • Same A7sIII 12 Megapixel sensor
  • 4k60 & 4k 120 (no crop). But it appears 120p might be coming later via firmware update
  • no pixel binning
  • 409k ISO
  • AF from a7r V but it has even better detection
  • Body overheats a lot at the moment
  • Lots of new AI features, very innovative
  • Similar body style of the ZV-E10, but in the size of the Sony A7c and with some FX3 elements
  • Price slightly below $2,500
  • Announcement on March 29, 3pm London time

There will be plenty of rumors and also possibly image leaks. So be sure to follow my new Youtube channel, Discord channel, Instagram (with funny AI images to annoy people), Facebook and Twitter to not miss news and rumors.

Sony preparing a April 1st JOKE??? Images of a new Sony A7LV camera for left-handers :)

BIG WARNING:
At the moment I believe those “leaked” images may be showing a JOKE being prepared by Sony for April 1st!
They do NOT come from my trusted sources but from a new source. The images he shared were actually from a “alleged” Sony presentation and show much more than I am posting here. For privacy reasons I did crop the images and upsize the resolution with Topaz AI, to show the camera only.

So please again, don’t count me accountable for this leak. At the moment I believe this might be a real leak…of an April fools day preparation from Sony :)

The new Sony A7LV:
With that warning in mind let’s move on to the images: They do show the new A7LV which is basically the A7rV made for left-handers. Now, IF THIS is real this would be the first ever digital camera made for left-handers.

But my bet is that this is a Sony Aprils fools day joke!

These three new Sigma E-mount lenses will be announced within the next few weeks!
