Ultrasonic water, slow motion Sony RX100 mk4

Delta (video on top):This generation of cameras are terrific for scientific application even in home laboratories all over the world, since they are so affordable but are still capable of recording in 1000 FPS at good image quality. As you know, science is about observing and recording experiments, and the new high frame rate cameras are fantastic for this purpose.

Few more info on the Sony hack

Share
Supported
Yesterdays news about the new Sony hack software created some buzz on the web. I do hope this will become a sort of Magic Lantern for Sony! As mentioned by Ma1co on Github there are still about 15 000 entries in the settings file. Experienced hackers may help him to figure out how all those settings do work.
Here is some additional info on the hack:
The full list of “hackable” cameras can be seen here: github.com/ma1co/OpenMemories-Framework/blob/master/docs/Cameras.md

1.1. save or copy the pmca-v0.4-win.exe file to a folder. I use C:\PMCA

2. Into that folder create a file Install.cmd
2.1 Edit Install.cmd and paste this text:

@ECHO OFF
C:\PMCA\pmca-v0.4-win.exe install -f *.apk
PAUSE

Next pricing error: Sony says 70-200mm GM lens will cost $1498

Share

Sony70-200mmGM

Sony US (Click here) just updated the FE 70-200mm GM lens page and says it will cost $1498. I am pretty sure that is an error as the price is the same of the [shoplink 47257 ebay]f/4.0 FE zoom version[/shoplink]. I guess the real price will be at least twice as much! But don’t worry it won’t cost 9.999 Euro as listed on Cyberport ;)

UPDATE: Sony now removed the price info!

UPDATE: Amazon US (Click here) now lists the 70-200mm GM lens with a kit bundle. No pricing unveiled yet.
