I know the SAR readers here hate that trend and lineup of cameras. But like it or not it is the best selling mirrorless camera of this holiday season according to Amazon US Bestseller ranking (Click here).
When it comes to lenses the Sigma E-mount lenses did sell well (ranking here).
Two sources now told me that we can expect a lot more features to be implemented than previously disclosed by Sony. This should bring both the Sony A1 and Sony A7sIII on par or ahead of the competition.
The bad news of this rumor is that it might means that the A1II (and A7sIV) might not going to be released any time soon.
A source (Thanks a lot!) just told me the DJI MIC 2 will be announced on January 17th at 15:00 Berlin time. As you might know the DJI Mic 2 has been “silently” launched as part of DJi Osmo 3 combo kit (Click here). What we are getting now on Jan 15 is the possibility to buy the Mic only for our Sony cameras.

There is a clear trend from chinese manufacturers to work towards releasing new autofocus lenses. Also Zhong Yi Optics confirmed now that they are going to make AF lenses (including for Sony E-mount). The initial lenses are said to be primes…probably 35mm or/and 85mm.
