Is this Sony sensor the one used by the Fuji X-H2s?

X-H2s vs A6600 vx OM-1 by CameraSize

Someone dropped me this sensor spec list with the following text:

An APS-C format stacked sensor, dubbed the IMX671-AAPH, appears to be a public version of the sensor used in the X-H2S.
This is a sensor that allows for high speed readout without DRAM, the same architecture as the IMX472 in the Olympus OM-1.
Perhaps Fujifilm can achieve greatness in high-speed photography in the future.
Not sure if this is a correct “rumor” tough…any feedback from trusted sources?

Yep, just like we told you there will be a new ZV APS-C camera but…

Share

Because I see others reposting our older ZV camera rumors. Yes, I can confirm once more what I wrote months ago. A new ZV APS-C camera is coming and it will not replacement of the current ZV-10. And obviously it will have a stacked sensor and focus on video because that’s the also the main goal of the ZV line: be a Blogger tool. And the newly announced APS-C lenses once more show that Sony seems to focus the APS-C product strategy on Youtubers and Video creators.

The new ZV camera was scheduled for a late Spring announcement but the launch got delayed due the semiconductor shortage. At this point it might be announced in late August…but that’s just speculation for now.

15mm f/1.4 review at Lenstip:

I am very happy I was given an opportunity to test this lens. First of all, a round of applause for the Sony company – they proved they treat the APS-C system seriously. If a company wants their customers to treat it seriously as well, they have to offer such instruments as the Sony E 15 mm f/1.4G.
In this lens you get everything you should expect from such an instrument– a shapely, lightweight device with a very good aperture fastness that is sharp across the frame up from the maximum relative aperture. There are some flaws but only in categories we expected them to be – distortion and vignetting. Also the lens could have performed better when it comes to longitudinal chromatic aberration; still it can’t change our very positive assessment of the new Sony product.
The price tag might be a small spoon of tar in a barrel of honey. When writing these words the European price reaches 850 Euro – almost two times higher than the price of the rival Sigma.

11mm f/1.8 review at Lenstip:

Not so long ago, in the summary of its test, I was gushing over the performance of the Sony E 20 mm f/1.8G. I never expected that I would have to write a similar puff piece for another ultra-wide angle Sony lens.
A puff piece? I use this term deliberately. What can be done – the Sony E 11 mm f/1.8 certainly deserves that and more. You deal here with a fast ultra-wide angle lens which is small, shapely, and lightweight, sensationally sharp in the frame centre and satisfactorily sharp on frame edges even at the maximum relative aperture.

If it wasn’t enough, its suggested price durig the launch is 600 Euro – not high, taking all the possibilities of the tested instrument into account. I don’t doubt that the Sony E 11 mm f/1.8 will find many happy users very soon.
