Only a few hours to go folks! On April 27 at 3pm London time Sony will announce the new 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II lens. I kindly invite you to follow the live blogging here on SAR. Moreover new announcements will follow soon. In may Sigma is expected to announce up to three new E-mount lenses (16-28mm f/2.8, 50mm f/1.2 and 50mm f/2.0). And in May-June Sony will announce a couple of other new E-mount lenses.

Xingyao Optical will announce a new Full Frame E-mount lens
Xingyao Optical announced a full-frame wide-angle lens. It can be seen that the aperture is F2.8, and the lens structure is 12 elements and 11 groups. It is expected to be launched in June. The bayonet is Canon RF / Sony E / Nikon Z / Sigma L-mount, the estimated price will not exceed 1800 yuan. No ideal about he focal lenght yet…

Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 FE to be released by end 2022?
CameraBeta reports that the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 FE is scheduled to be released by end of the year.
What we know for sure is that Sigma will soon announce a bunch of new E-mount lenses (I guess around mid May). It’s expected we get:
- 16-28mm f/2.8
- 50mm f/1.2
- 50mm f/2.0
