Goldman Sachs says Chip Shortage will only end in 2022

I told you recently that the ZV-E10 announcement has been postponed from the original May 26 launch date. And I heard from Sony and from other manufacturers that the cause is a global chip shortage. In short it means you have to pay 20-30x times more if you want to get your chip now. According to Goldman Sachs this shortage will end in early 2022 only.
In this video Tony Northrup thinks this is also the cause for the Canon R3 and Nikon Z8 launch delay. I wonder if this will also affect the A7IV launch which is rumored to happen in September…hope it is not!

RUMOR: Sony A7cII will be released about one year after the A7IV (which is coming in September)

I just got this which sound very reasonable:
I got info that development of a7c ii started. Release is scheduled for one year after A7IV which will be announced late September. No specs are known both for a7iv and a7c ii but one thing is 100% sure that a7cii will be again just smaller version of a7iv. Also the overall body will be smaller than first a7c but according to schematics, evf will be bigger, probably with higher resolution.
Other sources already told me the A7IV is scheduled to be released in September.
Gizmon has released the “UX-Tube Extension Tube for the Sony ZV-1

It’s not clear when it will be available in Europe and USA. Usually their stuff is sold via Asian sellers on eBay (Click here).
