I tried it on 2-3 Sony products and it didn’t work. But I have no time to check all hundreds of items so please do it for yourself and let me know if there are cameras-lenses or third party accessories where the code works!
Gaston Shutters (youtube channel here) shared new pics of the Sony FX3 and also some specs! His source said this is basically the same as an A7sIII camera.

From a purely cinematographers point of view he might be right. I think the FX3 might be a bigger deal than Sony expects. The FX3 looks like a perfect balance of size and features at a relatively decent price. I bet Sony will sell a lot of these!
