RUMOR: Sony 35mm f/1.4 GM looks very close to the 24mm GM and is just a tiny bit bigger
On left the current 24mm f/1.4 GM and on the right the current Zeiss 35mm f/1.4. The new GM lens will be something in between in terms of size. Courtesy: CameraSize
A trusted source from Asia saw the new 35mm f/1.4 GM lens and told me this:
- The new lens is almost the same size as the 24/1.4, just little bit bigger
- and same exterior design as 24/1.4
Makes sense. Question is, will it still be announced before Christmas or in January/February along the new A9 camera?
Sony announces the RX0 II and A6100 production will stop due to supply issues (because of a fire?)
Sony Japan announced a stop in the production of the RX0 II and A6100. I don’t know if this has been cause by the fire at the AKM Nobeoka factory that supplies LSI for Sony too. More about this at Insideimaging.com.au.
