Sony Center Cyprus posted the weirdest teaser ever for a new lens announcement on June 2

Now this is totally weird. Sony Center Cyprus posted this video teaser with he following text:

Something big is coming…
Are you ready to see the future through a new lens?
Save the date – 2 June 2025, 9:00 (Cyprus time).
Stay tuned.

So they write that a ‘new lens’ is coming on 2 June. And they posted a teaser with a silhouette of what appears to be this Canon camera. This doesn’t look like a serious official Sony teaser. But their previous teaser for the event on 15 May was actually a real teaser for the launch of the new Sony WH-1000XM6 headset.

So I do not know what they are doing, they’ve done a really confusing job here :)

What’s really going to happen:

On May 28 Sony will announce the new FX2 and no new lens. I heard there might be another lens announcement soon but I don’t think this is going to happen on June 2 already!
