Finally I have a clue about the exact announcement time. The A77M2 and RX100M3 will be announced on May 1 at 10 am London time. In other time zones this will be:
– 2am (02:00) San Francisco
– 5am (05:00) New York time
– 10 am (10:00) London time
– 11 am (11:00) Berlin time
– 8 pm (20:00) Tokyo time
The most important correction I have to make is quite surprising because one of my trusted sources corrected the RX100M3 info. It doesn’t have the Sony patented 28-100mm f/1.8-2.8 lens! The RX100M3 has a new 24-70mm f/1.8-2.8 lens! Sony decided to take away some mm at the tele end in favour of a much more wide angle lens. I am a bit surprised I was wrong on this because two trusted sources told me it was a 28-100mm lenses. I actually suspect Sony itself shared wrong specs without knowing it. Possible seen that they often copy and past from previous generation cameras :) One more thing: It’s confirmed the new RX has a builtin EVF!
