What’s the best Macro lens between the Nikon, Canon Zeiss lenses and the [shoplink 48071]Sony 90mm FE[/shoplink]? Lensrentals compared them all and the conclusion is:

The Sony FE 90mm f/2.8 Macro totally shocked me. It’s clearly better at all frequencies at macro distances. In fact, it’s the highest resolving off all these lenses at macro distances, at least in the image center. I’m not certain if it’s related or just coincidence, but the Sony lens has electronic motors controlling both the focusing and the compensating element. As best I know, all of the other macro lenses tested have mechanical movements of the compensating elements.

In short, the Sony a6300 graded nicely, the internals are very well thought out, and being an APS-C sensor camera, the lens choices are much wider and cheaper than if you were to be using a full frame camera, and allows for the use of third party Speedboosters to bring it up to a Super 35 sensor image, just in case you need that extra bump.
Aside from the pros and cons, when it comes down to it, if you’re needing a nice, budget-friendly B/ C cam to coincide with your other bigger camera systems, well then this is a good go-to for you.

Sony Artisan Patrick Murphy-Racey tested the autofocus performance of the new 70-200mm GM lens and says it’s “awesome”:

“All hesitation and temptation to hunt in terms of AF has all but gone. The combination of twice as much light coming through the optic to the chip makes it 50% more accurate and helps hold focus even in shadow areas and severely backlit situations. This lens is the real deal.”
