Our reader “fernando” sent us the following new copy of a new full accessories list for the NEX version cameras. There is a new NEX bag carrier for the cameras on the image and here are the full pictures:
Does this mean that it is not possible to attach the FDA-EV1S viewfinder to the NEX-7? The internal viewfinder may be sufficient for most cases, but it is not tiltable…
Oh my God… When will Sony understand that not all of their users are engineers and could follow their circuit diagram? Now… does it mean even the old NEX-5 can use the new LA-EA2 adapter?
Are any of those hotshoe modules GPS? I can’t see it well enough. I sure hope that they come up with a GPS solution for the NEX-7, that seems to have been neglected.
I’ll translate the blue table for you guys. From top to bottom and left to right.
1st row -Flash- -Macro Flash / Ring- -Macro Light Adapter- -Triple Connector-
2nd row-External Battery Adapter- -Off camera flash- -Off-Camera Cable- -Extension cable- -Multi Flash Cable-
3rd row -Sync Terminal Adapter- -Hot Shoe Adapter-
last row -Stereo microphone- -Microphone Gun- -Clip-on LCD monitor- -Bracket-
Sorry I don’t have Photoshop on this PC or I would have uploaded a jpeg for you guys.
I wish they’d get us a proper ring flash that didn’t require an adapter to fit Alpha foot. The current model is antiquated and no more convenient than using any other more capable ring flash with adapter. They just need a ring light module to use with the existing HVL-MT24AM… and Maxxum already had one. Don’t understand why they aren’t using the Maxxum as rebrand like so many other Sony rebrands.
Would love to see a new ring-flash with full manual control and a powerful modeling light that could double as ring-light for beauty video work. I’m already getting that with a 20 year old Sunpack. Not hard to make a native solution.

WIRED REMOTE for NEX… Please Sony! Such an oversight…
This bag looks amazing and ever since you posted the bag I’ve been waiting for it to be released in north America.
Well here we are almost 6months later and still no sign of it. So I decided to give Sony.ca a call and to my disappointment they told me that the bag is a Japanese only product and that it will NEVER come to North America. That automatically got me fired up so i began to search profusely all over eBay and google. Nothing!! The closest I came was finding an eBay seller who had sold 5 of them in the past few months but no longer has anymore.
I then did a google search and after much Japanese to English translation and sifting through paragraphs that did not make sense. I came across a sight where one of the Japanese members posted a comment saying Sony pulled production of the Bags since the NEX-7 Problems in Thailand. So not only is the product never coming to North America the product is no longer even being sold in Japan! Do you guys know if this is true!? Was the Sony rep talking out of his ass?
If you guys know of anyone who is selling these bags PLEASE let me know or even better yet post about the Shortage on your blog. I’m sure many others out there have been waiting for this bag. And maybe some of your Japanese users can shed some light on this. Maybe even suggest a Japanese retailer that is selling them that we wouldn’t possibly be able to find out about unless we lived there. Hopefully one that ships internationally! lol
Hi hi, same here, been looking for this bag all over, but also can only find old ebay auctions. I do travel quite a bit and checked in HongKong, New York, not Japan though. There has got to be some online store selling this thing (preferably the brown one) if anybody knows something please reply to this post, It costs around 67 euro in Japan, but of course i do not mind paying more , just really have no idea where to get it (other than going to japan myself which is a bit to much thanks
and the link to tenso (www.tenso.com)
I ordered mine. Beware the brown one will have a delivery time of over 2 months , the black one is available immediately) I will have it in my hands by end of week. Shipping with tens will depend on the country you ship to but to Europe is is around 22 Euro.
Good luck

Here is the amazon link : http://www.amazon.co.jp/ソニー-LCS-EME-B-ソフトキャリングケース-ブラック/dp/B005JFWKSQ/ref=sr_1_fkmr1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1332599272&sr=8-1-fkmr1
