2 years ago |the Nex 5 vs. Nex 7 article on digitalrev is the worst i’ve seen in a long time.. half of the info is wrong, the rest is speculation.
Matthew
2 years ago |It doesn’t help that it’s also a month old.

When I saw a score of 15/20 for ergonomics for the 5N I woke up and read the reader comments.
Total BS, the digitalrev “review”.

2 years ago |The only reason to watch DigRev reviews is to get a peep at his hot girlfriend every now and then. That gives me a hope for finding a photo babe for myself one day… one who doesn’t mind cash being spent on kit.

2 years ago |I laughed when he said it had fast autofocusing…in its class, it’s average. Not to say it’s slow by any means, but it definitely isn’t near the fastest out there. Still looking forward to my 7 preorder…

2 years ago |Agree cannot use for sports without the use of the phase detection adaptor but then you are using the alpha lenses. I would say it is a little on the slow side.
Matthew
2 years ago |I’m still considering getting that adapter and the relatively affordable 70-300 f/4.5-6.3 G lens. That may be good for sports?

2 years ago |Dun really fovor in using Alpha lens with it. Would rather stick to my A77 if i wanted to use the big and bulky A-mount Lens.

2 years ago |Yup… AF on current Panasonic, Olympus, and Nikon mirrorless are faster, but obviously Sony wouldn’t say the “AF is almost as fast as the competition.” Also, the so called “comprehensive” lens selection is actually smaller than m4/3 and NX (Samsung).

2 years ago |Nice promo but I’m sicking to what I have. Bigger, heavier and more costly but that’s just me. Heck, if everything was correct in the video then Sony would just give up on everything else. Hello Kodak?

2 years ago |I don’t really like the a580 review posted. The content in general is fine, but it’s filled with little technical errors and typos (the CZ 85/1.4 is called a 85/1.2, the caption of one photo calls the a580 the SLT-A580). Also, a lot of the product shots are pictures of lenses, not the camera itself.
The large number of ‘real world’ shots is a plus, but they should proofread a bit before publishing.

2 years ago |very deceptive ad… bigger sensor = better picture quality doesn’t mean good photography. It just mean clear picture. A picture without a soul cannot be called a photograph. That’s why people keep buying camera in search for great photograph but misconception of good picture = photography make a big whole on their wallet still yet to fulfil their wish.

2 years ago |Better IQ (properly focused and exposed) indeed is something different than good photography.
However, to take interesting pictures you have to be in right place and time with camera which is able to capture pictures with decent quality. NEXes are smaller (pocketable) cameras and you could carry it with you to catch a special moment.

Good to see that they are capable – better than the stupid pop star & football star adds.
