Vertical grip:

As you see it costs much less than the official Sony VG-C77AM Vertical Grip (here at Amazon). Question is, does it work at least nearly as good as the official grip?

As you know recently NEXpro (Click here) released the “world’s first Hot shoe designed for SONY NEX-5 and SONY NEX-5n” It costs around $80. As usual be careful with these ebay listenings. let me know if you tried that before. If it works we would save almost $50!

Don’t miss the chance to grab one of the (very few) Zeiss 24mm f/1.8 lenses that are in Stock right now at BHphoto (Click here). That lens is so difficult to find (at least in US stores). Amazon (Click here) has an overpriced used copy only for sale (Click here). Sony really needs to push the lens production. And as long as the Zeiss isn’t available I fear we have to wait until we can get the other new NEX lens(es) that will be announced soon!
