One of our reader (Thanks Eric) confirmed that shipments of the new [shoplink 7207]Sony NEX-C3[/shoplink] has been started in Singapore and generally in Asia. There are now plenty of NEX-C3 tests in Asia like on Fengniao and NikkeiBP.

Slr magic from Hong Kong just announced via Twitter that the new 28mm f/2.8 lens for E-mount is in Stock on [shoplink 7358 ebay]eBay (Click here)[/shoplink]. The price is $199. This is a manual lens that needs no adapter to fit on your NEX camera. I havn’t found a review on the world wide web, just a hands-on written by Steve Huff.

P.S.: I hope Sigma or Voigtländer will do the pancakes Sony is missing in their roadmap. Would love to see a native [shoplink 3717 ebay]35mm f/1.4 Voigtländer[/shoplink] lens for example!
There have been new instant rebates on the Sony A55 camera. As you know last week we told you that there could be a new A57 (or A65) announcement in July. And rumors from new sources do suggest that also the NEX-5 and VG10 could be replaced (more on that as soon as I get info from trusted sources). The very interesting note is that those deals do end on July 9. And our sources told us that there coul be a press release on July 7 :)

I found that news via 43rumors. The new Holga lens for NEX is now available on [shoplink 7098 ebay]eBay (Click here)[/shoplink]. I don’t know how many of you are Holga fans, but I am one of them :)
I was wondering why I couldn’t find any preorder option of the new Samyang 35mm f/1.4 manual lens. Finally I discovered that in US and Europe the lens has a different “name”. It’s called Rokinon in US and sometimes called Wallimex in Europe (why?). You can preorder the lens for $499 at Amazon (Click here). Didn’t found the lens in european stores.
P.S.: The real bargain is the 85mm f/1.4 you can get for $274 on Amazon (Click here).
Soon the A850 will be impossible to find in other places than eBay. The biggest online US online stores like Adorama and Bhphoto already don’t have the camera in Stock anymore. You can find one single unit only at Amazon (Click here). As you see it’s cold via Samy’s camera. The same reseller is offering the Sony A55 in bundle with the 18-250mm lens (Click here).

Quite a couple of people asked me where they can get the new Samyang NEX lens. I wanted to remind you that you can find them on [shoplink 6821 ebay]eBay[/shoplink] only for now, and that the new [shoplink 6821 ebay]8mm fisheye lens for NEX[/shoplink] has been optimized for the NEX-VG10 camcorder! There should be a version for the “normal” NEX cameras coming later.
