Meet the Uni LensCap: Universal Lens Protection, Re-Engineered to Last
Photographers will soon have a smarter way to protect their gear. Launching August 6th, the Uni LensCap is a next-generation universal lens cover offering a snug, tear-resistant fit and shock-absorbing protection built right into its core.
Engineered to fit 99% of DSLR and mirrorless lenses, the Uni LensCap performs best on barrels measuring 60–90mm in diameter. At its center is a precision-molded flat top, surrounded by the new Impact Guard Ridge—a low-profile, ribbed structure that diffuses shock and shields the lens face from direct impact. Combined with a reinforced retention ring, this design ensures a secure fit that won’t stretch or slip, regardless of how often it’s used.
With a vivid blue finish, the Uni LensCap is easy to find even in dark or cluttered kits. Its stretch-fit design hugs lenses, hoods, and filters alike, shielding them from water, dirt, and shock without ever cracking or slipping.
Key Features:
• Universal fit for 60–90mm lenses
• Flat-top design with shock-deflecting Impact Guard Ridge
• Reinforced retention ring for long-term grip and stretch-resistance
• Waterproof, dustproof, shockproof, and washable
• Bold blue color for visibility in dark environments
Sony RX1rIII in Stock at BHphoto, Amazon, Adorama, Fotokoch, Fotoerhardt, Calumet, WexUK.
The Sony RX1rIII has a raison d’être that is often misunderstood. This camera does not focus on technical specifications. For those, it is better to buy a Sony A7cR with the new $150 TTartisan 40mm f/2.0 and save $2,000. The Sony RX1rIII offers a unique experience, with the image quality of the Sony A7rV in the smallest and lightest camera body possible. And I think there’s a market for that. There are people who love the idea (and have the money) to use this camera as a fun option when they don’t feel like carrying something bulky around.
And the latest reviews from youtubers show that this is exactly the point of this camera:
Meike announced a new 24mm f/1.4 FE lens and you can preorder it for $589 or 505€ at Meike Global Store (Click here). There is no review of this lens yet. All we have is this image of the lens on the Sony:
