The Sony RX1rIII has a raison d’être that is often misunderstood. This camera does not focus on technical specifications. For those, it is better to buy a Sony A7cR with the new $150 TTartisan 40mm f/2.0 and save $2,000. The Sony RX1rIII offers a unique experience, with the image quality of the Sony A7rV in the smallest and lightest camera body possible. And I think there’s a market for that. There are people who love the idea (and have the money) to use this camera as a fun option when they don’t feel like carrying something bulky around.
