Marques Brownlee is testing the new Sony A7sIII and says it’s “excellent” and Casey Neistat says it’s the best camera he has used!

Sony A7sIII preorder at Adorama. BHphoto. Amazon. FocusCamera. Fotokoch. Calumet DE. WexUK. Park UK.

Also Marques is testing it and tweeted this:

Casey Neistat also likes the camera a lot:

He also added on a comment:

can honestly say the A7Siii solves for every gripe i’ve ever had about every single camera i’ve ever used. it’s as if someone watched all of the many many many many many videos i’ve made where im bitching about cameras and addressed every single one of those complaints.
the flip out screen is perfect, focus is flawless and (for me more importantly) super easy to manipulate, menu system is still super deep but relatively intuitive, it shoots in what feels like total darkness, 4k 120 is just madness and the form factor is my favorite. its a brick, solid, reliable.. you could hammer nails with this fucker.
I need more time to figure out what i dont like about it and ill share that. for now it’s as close to perfection as any camera ive ever used. this is not an ad, i wasnt paid to say any of this.

Sony A7sIII Preorders:
Sony A7sIII in USA at Adorama (up to $400 off with lens). BHphoto. Amazon. FocusCamera.
Sony A7sIII in EU at Fotokoch. Calumet DE. WexUK. Park UK.

Curiosity: Canon EOS-R5 uses a Sony made EVF

Some guy on Baidu looked inside the Canon EOS-R5. He found the camera has no heatsink on the CPU. That’s a classic Canon cripple hammer in action :)

Beside that news there is also an interesting discovery: The EVF is made by Sony and has the code “ecx339a“. I also wonder if the sensor is still made by Canon or if they are now buying Sony sensors too. Someone knows the answer?
