Sony and Prophesee Develop a Stacked Event-Based Vision Sensor with the Industry’s Smallest*1 Pixels and Highest*1 HDR Performance
It has corrected the phenomenon whereby the image is disturbed during the focus drive when the camera is set to auto with the distortion correction function in the camera and shooting a movie.
It has improved the effect of the in-body peripheral illumination correction function.

It would be about time for Sony to launch a proper High End model A7000 camera to compete against the Fuji X-T line. I know it’s unlikely this will happen :( but at least we might know Sony now has a sensor for this!
The IMX671AQR specs sheet leaked out. The APS-C sensor has 43MP and records 8K 12bit video too! It also has stacked DRAM and up to 16 bit depth for stills images:
